You must create an account with ESL Play to register for the weekly tournaments. Registration: If you did not register prior to the event, and if all spots in the bracket have not been filled at check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
Participating in online Events will earn players or teams points towards qualification in offline Events. The top 6 ranking players and Top 1 from the Ladder will earn preferential seeding in the World Qualifier Bracket. The points and prizing system is outlined in the “Scoring Structure” section of this rulebook.
During the Tournament, individuals will compete against others in their pre-set designated bracket in the videogame “The Unspoken” (the “Game”) on Oculus Rift. Each duel between two players will consist of three, three round matches. Duels take place across a variety of arenas and the player is allowed to choose their class and loadout. Players will fight against their opponent in a 1-on1 arena, and the player who wins the best of 3 matches will win their duel and advance in the bracket. Participants are responsible for understanding the Game controls and instructions. All matches will be tracked by the Game’s internal scoring and winner determination system and will be deemed the official result for all purposes of this Tournament. Competitors must be 13 years of age or older to compete.
