    2.1. Communication

The communication during the cup is being done on the forum, in the specific category for the competition you are part of. We do not take responsibility if attempts made through other channels including support tickets or protests are not seen in time to be handled.

    2.2. No show

If a contestant is not submitting any requests in the forum to be invited to the lobby until the time when the race needs to start, he will not have the possibility to participate anymore in the competition.

    2.3. Forfeit

If a contestant chooses to forfeit a match, they will forfeit any prizes and if possible will be replaced by their opponent in the previous round.

    2.4. Protests

Protests must be made as soon as possible, or they may be ignored depending on the circumstances. The replay file should always show the names above the player cars.

Replays without displaying player names might not be counted as evidence.

    3. Match rules

    3.1. In-game

    3.1.1. Player drops

If a player drops during the game for any reason, the race will continue without him.

    3.1.2. Observers

Observers are allowed only if both players agree. Exception to this rules are ESL admins and people that are explicitly allowed to observe by an admin (e.g. shoutcasters or streamer). Under no conditions is it allowed to play with referees other those decided by an admin.

Players should only allow observers they trust. It is not allowed to protest after a match to complain about observers that were allowed in the game.

    3.1.3. Joker Lap

Everyone has to take the Joker Lap once, and must not take it twice or more than that. Everyone who takes the Joker Lap more than once will be punished with a disqualification from the competition.

    3.1.4. Incidents

Every time two or more cars collide is defined as an incident.

Due to a significant difference to a normal race class, Rally Cross incidents will be handled differently.

As contact with other cars is, to some extent, normal in Rally Cross events, we won't punish minor contact with other cars.

Incidents are divided into 3 categories, each with its own penalties and meaning:

    • Mild incident
    • Critical incident
    • Intentional incident

    3.1.5. Mild Incident

A mild incident is defined as the moment when two cars collide resulting in one of it being sent off-track. The penalties are as follows:

    • The first time it happens - 2 penalty points
    • The second time it happens in the same competition - 4 penalty point and disqualification from the competition
    • The third time it happens until the penalty points expire - 6 penalty points and 2 weeks expulsion from the competition

Note - the penalty points are not summed up, the highest value is being given to the player as penalty.

    3.1.6. Critical incident

A critical incident is defined as the moment when two or more cars collide resulting in one of it being sent off-track. The penalties are as follows:

    • The first time it happens - 4 penalty point and disqualification from the competition
    • The second time it happens until the penalty points expire - 6 penalty points and 2 weeks expulsion from the competition
    • The third time it happens until the penalty points expire - 1 month expulsion from the competition

Note - the penalty points are not summed up, the highest value is being given to the player as penalty.

Note 2 - If there's a critical incident in the event and 50% of the cars are affected by the incident, the race will be restarted.

    3.1.7. Intentional incident

Creating a race incident on purpose will have intensive repercussions. The penalties for this are given depending on the incident and may vary, but at least a disqualification from the tournament and a 2 week exclusion from all tournaments.

    3.1.8. Time Penalties

We reserve the right to hand out time penalties, in case we think that a disqualification isn't the right punishment. This rule mostly applies to situations where players fight for a qualifier spot or a prize money. Penalty points may be added, depending on the circumstances.

    3.1.9. Requirements for a punishment

The following requirements need to be fulfilled. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept your complain and thus we will dismiss it.

    • After the cup, you have 48h time to send your report via Support Ticket. If you send the report after this period of time, we're not able to handle the case.
    • You have to attach a video, that shows the incident
    • The video needs to show the driver names above the cars, so that we can identify the drivers

    3.1.10. Match media

All match media (screenshots, demos, etc) must be kept for at least 14 days. In general, the host of the race should upload the match media from a match to the forum as soon as possible. Faking or manipulating match media is of course forbidden and will result in severe penalties. Demos/Replays

The host of the game is responsible for uploading the replay of the match to the forum as soon as possible after the match. The replay file should always show the names above the player cars.

    4. Casting

Casting an ESL match is only allowed with an ESL admin agreement. To get an agreement please write a support ticket.

    4.1. Personal Streaming

Personal Streaming is always allowed if ESL TV is not casting a match. If ESL TV is casting a match, is personal streaming not allowed without an admin agreement. Personal Streaming of a match shown by ESL TV, without permission from an ESL admin, can lead into a disqualification of the team or ban of the streaming player in the tournament.

    5. Penalty points

    5.1. Penalty Point Catalogue

In general, a player and the team can receive up to 6 penalty points per match, unless a single violation has a higher punishment. A team is only punished once per violation, regardless of how many players. Where a player or team receives penalty points for multiple violations, the penalty points are added together.
