Quick Rules
To participate in this qualifier it is mandatory that all players fill out this form: Player Registration
Game Mode:
- Direct Challenge TOURNAMENT Match Mode
- 1on1
- PC/Mac Only
Cup Format:
- Tournament structure: Swiss Mode
- All matches are first to 2
- The amount of contestants defines the amount of rounds
- Contestants will be matched against each other based on their win / lose ratio
- The Buchholz system will be used to break ties of multiple players finishing on the same win / lose ratio
- A Player's Buchholz tiebreaker score is the sum of their opponents' score, removing nothing from the calculation. If a player's opponents scored in their other matches 3, 2, 3, 4, 3 and 5 then the team's Buchholz score is 3 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 3 + 5 = 20.
- Games are to be played as a running schedule
Game specific rules
- Constructed decks will be used
- A Standard deck contains 60+ Standard cards and can optionally have a sideboard of up to 15 additional such cards. Apart from basic lands, the combined main deck and sideboard cannot have more than four copies of any card.
Banned/Legal Cards:
- The current legal rotation at the time of the tournament will dicate the legality of different cards and sets, you can find out more here: https://whatsinstandard.com/
- All players are encouraged to test their deck in game on the day of the tournament to confirm that their deck meets the standard requirments
Screenshots of each result must be uploaded to the match media section after each game.
Each player needs to enter and confirm the scores on the match page after each series.
