Road To BlizzCon: Americas Championship

At this year’s BlizzCon in Anaheim, USA, on the 6th and 7th of November, Heroes of the Storm will take its place alongside StarCraft II, World of Warcraft and Hearthstone to see its first World Championship conclude on the big stage in front of thousands of fans.

ESL has the honor of hosting the North American qualification for the Americas Championship, which has a US$75,000 prize pool and will see two teams advance to BlizzCon to take on the best teams from all over the world. However, before hitting the big stage the North American teams will have to prove themselves in monthly tournaments running throughout June, July, and August.

The top five teams from these tournaments will advance to take on the best teams from Latin America, Australia/New Zealand and Southeast Asia for one of the two spots at BlizzCon 2015.
