HCS Team Profile with Evil Geniuses
After several months of competition, the Halo Championship Series Finals begin tomorrow! Now it is time to take a look at the profile of the team that many people in the Halo community hold as the favorite to take the championship title: Evil Geniuses.

Back in November, Evil Geniuses first announced their roster for HCS with this trailor: Roy, Snip3down, Lunchbox and Pistola. After the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Launch Invitational where he participated as a member of Str8 Rippin, Roy was approached by Snip3down and Pistola. The natural addition to the team was Roy’s twin brother, Lunchbox. The team started off strong with a win in HCS Cup #1, but suffered a major setback when Pistola had to stop competing due to a hand injury.

The team collectively chose to pick up Lethul and, after a short period of adjustment, came out stronger than ever. EG finished the season with three first place finishes in HCS Cup #1, #6 and #7 and as well as a significant point boost after defeating CLG in the Grand Finals at Gamers for Giving. This last victory earned EG the number one seed for the Season Finals ahead of CLG and Denial.

Within the team, there is a consensus that no individual holds a specific role. Each member has the individual skill necessary to fill whichever position is needed. Snip3down has 12 first place finishes under his belt, the first of which taking place in 2008. He, Roy and Lunchbox teamed once before (also in 2008), but it’s evident that their current roster is rock solid. Naturally, having two brothers, and twins at that, on one team makes for a special chemistry within the roster. Towey, EG’s coach, brings a similar familiarity to the team as he has been coaching the twins for over four years now. Lethul has been successfully integrated into the team as the results show and Gamers for Giving last month earned him his fifth event win.
