PAX East is now just one week away which means the Season One Finals are almost here. To keep you hyped for the conclusion of the first season of the Halo Championship Series, we’re bringing you another top eight team profile! Today we’re going to check out Noble Black.

The rise of Noble Black was a mid-season whirlwind. Arkanum signed on with Noble shortly before UGC St. Louis where the team placed 11th, but it wasn’t until just before Cup #4 that the roster began evolving into the team we know now. Following the disbandment of his team Believe the Hype, Maniac made the decision to join Noble Black, and Aries, who had previously been part of OpTic, took his own seat on the roster. After participating in two cups with ContrA as a fourth, Noble Black took advantage of the final roster change period and made one last alteration to their lineup. APG, who had also been displaced after Believe the Hype disbanded, was anticipating a switch to OpTic, but at the last minute ended up replacing ContrA to finish up the current roster.

Noble Black is known to be a very aggressive team which is a quality all of its members share, particularly team captain Arkanum. Aries is a well-rounded player with impressive communication and top individual skill. Both APG and Maniac attended the Halo: The Master Chief Launch Invitational as members of the event’s champion team Believe the Hype; it seems they’ve brought their success with them to the team. We will see if this carries over to the Season Finals where Noble Black will meet Team Vibe from the UK in the Play-In match for the 8th seed in the tournament. If they are successful, they will face off against the top seeded team Evil Geniuses.
