How To: Forza Racing Championship
Today we want to explain how the Forza Racing Championship works and what you need to do to be part of it. There are two things you need to do before playing in our tournament, but the most important one is to create an ESL account and to sign up for the competitions.
Elite Series

First Step:
  • The Elite Series requires a one-time registration; weekly sign-up is not required.
  • Play the ForzaRC Elite Series Rivals Qualifier in-game and reach the Top 32
  • Top 32 of the rivals leaderboard are eligible for the Elite Cup on Saturday.

  • Second Step:
  • Compete in the Elite Cup on Saturday and reach the Top 16

  • Third Step:
  • Confirm your slot for the Sunday Elite Showdown Cup and be there 1 1/2 hours before the cup kicks off at 11am PDT / 8pm CEST. We will do the qualify before the Liveshow starts.
  • Reach the Top 4 to qualify for the Season 2 Grand Finals event


  • Consolation Series

    First Step:
  • The Consolation Series requires a one-time registration; weekly sign-up is not required.
  • Play the ForzaRC Consolation Series Qualifier in-game and qualify within 33th and 160th place.
  • The 128 players of the rivals leaderboard are eligible for the Consolation Cup on Saturday.

  • Second Step:
  • The top 16 in our Consolation Cup will receive $50 USD each.


  • Recreational Series

    First Step:
  • The Recreational Series requires a one-time registration; weekly sign-up is not required. The Leagues will open on Sunday at 8 am PT (5pm CET) and close the following Sunday at 7:59am PT (4:59pm CET)

  • Second Step:
  • Play in-game in the league mode. Top 25 of the Recreational Series will receive awesome prizes. All qualified drivers will receive a ingame car.

  • Settings will be set and managed for all players entirely by Microsoft or their designated agent for each week’s Recreation Series play

    How does the Forza Racing Championship work?

    1. What is the difference between Elite Cup, Elite Showdown, Consolation Cup and Recreational Series?
  • Elite Cup: 1on1 Cup for the Top 32 from the Rival Qualifier
  • Elite Showdown: Real races between the Top 16 of the Elite Cup in our live show
  • Consolation Cup: Place 33-160 will compete in a 1on1 for prizes
  • Recreational Series: Will drive in the online Mode in Forza Motorsports 6 and Forza Horizon 3 for ingame prizes

  • Week 1: 2015 Audi TT S
  • Week 2: 2015 Audi RS 6 Avant
  • Week 3: 2014 Team Joest Audi R18

  • 4. Which tracks and are used in each week in the Elite and Showdown Cups?
  • Week 1: Catalunya National, Hockenheim National, Sebring Club
  • Week 2: Brands Hatch Full, Laguna Seca, Catalunya GP
  • Week 3: Sebring Full, Watkins Glen Full, Silverstone GP

  • 5. How can I confirm my slot for the Elite Cup on Saturday?
  • Every week on Friday we will add the Top 128 from the rivals leaderboard to the tournament and send them mails and private messages on ESL with all details. The cup starts at 11am PDT / 8pm CEST, so make sure to be there, if you got a mail, otherwise your slot will be forfeit.

  • 6. How can I confirm my slot for the Showdown Cup on Sunday?
  • Every Saturday after we know the Top 16 players, we will add them to the Showdown Cup for Sunday and then you can confirm your slot until Sunday at 10.30am PDT / 7.30pm CEST. If you do not confirm your slot, you will be forfeit it. All qualified players will get more details via email.

  • 7. How can I save a replay?
  • At the end of each race you will have the option to save the replay.

  • 8. Xbox only allows 10 replays to be safe, what should we do?
  • Replays should be enough for the cup, but you don't need to keep them anymore if that cup race is confirmed as "without support or protest ticket

  • 9. What are the assists set at? Can we use mods?
  • Assists can be adjusted to players liking, cars have to remain "stock" without any tunes/mods.

  • 10. What does 'Force of Suggested Line = NO' mean?
  • Players are able to drive with suggested line on yes, this rule just means we don't force it to be OFF.

  • 11. Which countries are allowed to compete?
  • Please check the following list by Microsoft.
