What is the ESL Major League?

The ESL Major League consists of a group stage with 8 groups of 8 players. Overall 64 players will have the chance to make it into the playoffs as the best two players of each group advance. The best four players of the season will be rewarded with a prize pot of 1,000 EUR.

Frequently Asked Questions

The groupstage will be played with 8 groups of 8 players. This means that all eights players will compete against each other in each group. The Top 2 of each group will advance to the playoffs.

All matches will be played as Best-of-Three (Bo3).

Match days
The match days are pre selected and can be found above in the schedule. However, it's possible to move matches if both teams agree within the match week. A match week starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. Players have to agree on a new match date before the default date, otherwise you have to play on the default date. Not showing up will result in a default loss. If you are not showing up twice for a match, you will be disqualified from the ESL Major League. All matches will be valued with 3:0 for your opponent.

Players have to upload a result screenshot from each game. All match media have to be uploaded on the ESL website - no other ways or external hosters are allowed.
