1. Cup Rules
1.1. Matchstart & No show
Please consider that this is independent from the set matchtime as every cup match has to be played as soon as possible. If your opponent does not confirm in the matchchat or matchcomments that he is ready 15 minutes after both teams have been moved into the next round (including default wins), you have to open a protest to request a default win. This is the fastest way to get your match checked, as the admins cannot check all matches of a tournament manually.
Both players are responsible to enter a correct results on the ESL website. Therefore both players have to take a screenshot at the end of the match, where we can see the correct result and they need to upload it after the match to the ESL website. If you have a conflict in the match, please open a protest, so the staff team can check the case and take a decision. The decision can also mean that both players are disqualified, if there is not enough proof for either player to be the clear winner.
If a match was incorrectly reported by your opponents, you have 10 minutes to protest the report. ESL reserves the right to decrease this period in case of drastic delays. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series. Players are responsible for providing proof of match results in case of disputes.
1.4. Golden Goal
When the match finished with a remis, than you have to play a golden goal match. The players start a new game, which player scored the first goal is the winner in this match. The looser from the golden goal match have to leave the match! You have to play with the same teams from the first match, when you play with a other team, we have to give your opponent an defaultwin! In FIFA 17 you can make a perfect screenshot. You can press your "Start Button" when your opponent have the ball. In the middle of your screen you can see the Origin-GameID, left side is home & right side guest.
1.5. Final Score
In cup match you have to play golden goal if your match finish with a draw (new match and first to score win the match).
All match media (screenshots, demos, etc) must be kept for at least 15 days. In general, you should upload the match media from a match to the match page as soon as possible. Faking or manipulating match media is of course forbidden and will result in severe penalties. Match media should be named clearly based on what it is. It is not possible to file a protest or write a support ticket to complain about bad match media naming. However, if an admin is hindered in their work because of bad match media names then it can be punished for.
You have to upload one roundscreenshot per played round and where necessary a screenshot which is showing the gamesettings. Both contestants are responsible for uploading this matchmedia. You have 24 hours (during cups 15 minutes) to upload the matchmedia after your match has ended.
If it is not possible to create a Screenshot via "Print Screen key", you have to use an additional tool. We recommend Fraps or ESL Wire to create the screenshots. All players are obligated to upload a final screenshot of the result, both players are responsible for it.
These screenshots are valid screenshot:Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2 Screenshot 3
