What is the ESL Open League?

The ESL Open League will be open to each and every Critical Ops team - all you need to participate is sign up and play. Get your competitive career started and build up a reputation for you and your team through a season of group stages and playoffs. The group stages will have groups of 6-7 teams and we will try to create groups by country/region, so e.g. the Polish teams can play against each other and have an easier communication within the group stages.

All participants will be split up into groups of 6-7, so we will have 5-7 matchdays (depending on group size) for the complete season and playoffs after that. We try to seed the groups country-wise, so communication with your opponent is easier. Top 2 of each group advance to the playoffs.

Ranking is determined by points, score difference and if necessary direct comparison.

There will be one match per week. We are fine, if you and your opponent find a date on your own, where it fits best. However, we will have a default matchday, where the match has to be played at last. This will be a Monday evening.
