Game Settings

The official CWL Game Rules must be used.

The lobby host is responsible for ensuring that all settings are correct. Failure to create and start the game with the correct settings will result in a forfeit of that map.

The Higher Seeded team will choose to act as Team A or Team B for the Hosting and Side Selection procedures.
  • Team A gets first choice of which Game they would like to host.
  • Team B will then choose which side to start on for that Game.
  • Team B gets second choice of which Game they would like to host.
  • Team A will then choose which side to start on for that Game.
  • Team A gets third choice of which Game they would like to host.
  • Team B will then choose which side to start on for that Game.
  • Team B hosts the remaining two Games.
  • Team A will then choose which side to start on for those two Games.
The highest seed is 1. The seeds can be found in the tournament bracket as small numbers under the team names in the first round.

No Shows

Teams must be online and ready to play at the designated match start time. If your opponent fails to show up for the match, please notify Administration immediately via a protest ticket.

If a player disconnects within the first 15 seconds of the game and no kills have been made prior to the disconnect, the game will be restarted. If a player disconnects beyond that point, the game must continue. The player may rejoin as soon as he/she is able.

Match Reporting

Players are responsible for taking a screen capture of the results to be used as valid proof in the event of a protest. Following the match, both teams are expected to enter the match score. The score should be entered as numerical values where one win equals one point. For example, if a team wins 3 games and loses 1 game, the score submitted should be “3” and “1” with the numbers being entered into the respective boxes.

Results must be reported by both teams within 15 minutes after the match. If a team does not dispute match results within 15 minutes after completion of the match, the submitted results will be locked in. If results are submitted incorrectly, submit a ticket immediately.

Match Disputes

If there are any irregularities in the submitted scores, contact administration via protest with valid proof. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series.
