General Rules
*The Call of Duty World League Administration reserves the right to make any changes to these rules at any time for any reason. Players are responsible for understanding and operating on the latest version of these rules at all times.*
ROSTER CHANGESTeam rosters will be locked upon registration for the tournament. A roster change can only be initiated by the team captain and must be requested via a support ticket no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the tournament. All roster changes must be finalized before check-in begins (30 minutes prior to tournament start). Unlocked rosters will be locked at the start of the check-in period whether desired changes have been made or not. No changes to rosters can be made once the check-in period has started.
Team and player information will not be allowed to change once a cup has begun. This includes gameaccounts and team names. A player may remove themselves from a team for any reason at any time by submitting a support ticket. In the event that a player requests to leave a team once the tournament has started, that team will be disqualified.
TEAM & PLAYER NAMESCall of Duty World League Administration reserves the right to edit names and URL’s of players and teams for any reason. If a team name has been wrongly seized, please file a support ticket with appropriate proof of ownership of the name. Proof may be deemed eligible or ineligible at the discretion of Call of Duty World League Administration.
RINGER & FAKER RULESOnly registered team members are allowed to play for a team. Playing in any match with a ringer is prohibited. Players and teams must compete under their officially registered team names and gameaccounts during all Call of Duty World League Matches. Teams that are caught competing with an ineligible player will be disqualified from the tournament. There are no exceptions.
ADMINS & REFEREESAll participants in the Call of Duty World League must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated.
Conversations, either verbal or written, between organizers, admins, or referees, and CWL participants are confidential. Publicly posting or sharing these conversations with outside parties is strictly forbidden, unless permission is obtained.
PLAYER CONDUCTAll players are expected to compete with sportsmanlike conduct. Any misconduct or abuse toward competitors, members of the administration team, or others will be penalized.
Match Procedure
All teams are required to check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament to confirm their attendance. Failure to check in before the scheduled cup start time will result in exclusion from the bracket. No exceptions will be made.
When your match becomes available, navigate to “My Matches” on the right of the cup page. The game host must ensure that all players are invited to the game lobby via PlayStation Network.
HOSTINGThe lobby host is responsible for ensuring that all settings are correct. The lobby host is responsible for taking screenshots to provide as proof in the event of a setting dispute.
The host may take up to 5 minutes to set up the match between games. Failure to create and start the game with the correct settings will result in a forfeit of that map.

The highest seed is 1. The seeds can be found in the tournament bracket as small numbers under the team names in RO 512.
DELAYS & FORFEITSTeams must be online and ready to play at the designated match start time. “Ready to play” means that all four players of each team must be present and ready to begin the game within 20 minutes after the official match start time.
If a team is not fully ready to play and the 20 minutes has passed, the team will forfeit the first map. If the team is still not ready to play within additional increments of 5 minutes, they will forfeit additional games.
If your team is unable to join a lobby due to technical difficulties with the game, please notify the opposing team immediately and inform them that you are attempting to connect. If problems arise, please submit a support ticket.
MATCH REPORTINGPlayers are responsible for taking a screen capture of the results to be used as valid proof in the event of a protest. Following the match, both teams are expected to enter the match score. The score should be entered as numerical values where one win equals one point. For example, if a team wins 3 games and loses 1 game, the score submitted should be “3” and “1” with the numbers being entered into the respective boxes.
Results must be reported by both teams within 15 minutes after the match. If a team does not dispute match results within 15 minutes after completion of the match, the submitted results will be locked in. If results are submitted incorrectly, submit a ticket immediately.
MATCH DISPUTESIf there are any irregularities in the submitted scores, contact administration via protest with valid proof. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series.
Player Disconnects
If a player disconnects within the first 15 seconds of the game and no kills have been made prior to the disconnect, the game will be restarted. Find game mode specific rules below. Remember, no substitutes are allowed in this tournament under any circumstances.
Search and DestroyIn the event of a player disconnect during a Search and Destroy round, the round must be finished and the game must be paused immediately following the round to allow time for the player to rejoin. The player must rejoin within 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes have passed the game must continue.
