CeBIT participants finalized
The ranking for this season has been finalized and thereby the participants for the $250,000 Intel Extreme Masters World Championship have been determined.

At Intel Extreme Masters Brazil, the final points were given away in League of Legends, while Intel Extreme Masters Katowice determined the final StarCraft II participants.
The images below display the final 24 StarCraft II players as well as the final 12 League of Legends teams that will battle for the trophy and a share of the $250,000 cash prize at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship.

League of Legends

The trophy, that comes with a grand prize of $150,000 for League of Legends will be fought over by European LCS participants Evil Geniuses, SK Gaming, Fnatic and Gambit Gaming, Korean powerhouses CJ Entus Frost and Blaze, SK Telecom T1 and Incredible Miracle, Polish favourites Meet Your Makers and more!




StarCraft II

The all-star lineup for StarCraft II features players such as last season's champion MC, the World Champion PartinG, GSL legend Mvp and many many more. They will be fighting for a grand prize of $100,000 along with the championship title and trophy.



In case any of the qualified teams or players are not able to participate, their spots will be filled according to the ranking.

They will be replaced with the next team or player in the ranking that has not received a spot in the World Championship. In case of teams or players directly qualified through being the best of their region, the next best team from that region that is not yet qualified will receive their spot.

Intel Extreme Masters World Championship

The Intel Extreme Masters World Championship will feature a total cash prize of $250,000. Players and teams from all over the world have qualified through the various stops around the globe and will clash at CeBIT, Hanover, March 5th to 9th.
