The Intel® Extreme Masters are finaly in Germany. As the first big event in 2008 Cologne saw the first Intel® Friday Night Game of the Intel® Extreme Masters II. 1,000 fans joined the show and got the real feeling of eSports at its best. Two breathtaking matches and a great audience made the Tanzbrunnen quake. After years of ESL Pro Series in Germany we had a lot of events in the Tanzbrunnen and the fans in Cologne showed that they are very enthusiastic when the ESL is in town. So be prepared for the big show and the ultimate eSports event when the Intel® Extreme Masters go for the final event at CeBIT 2008!

    mousesports feels almost home in Cologne. As to prove this they showed an awesome match at the Intel® Friday Night Game of the Intel® Extreme Masters II. After two hard maps that both almost ended with the very last round they showed their skills on de_nuke and won the last map by 16:2. So they got their ticket for the Intel® Extreme Masters Finals II at CeBIT 2008. mTw now have to defeat Virtus.pro to go to CeBIT 2008.

    Andrew 'fire_de' Regendantz played impressive matches versus Grubby after defeating ToD, but that wasn't enough. Grubby won 2:0 and directly qualified for the Intel® Extreme Masters. Now fire_de has to play a Relegation match versus the German champion HasuObs to qualify for Intel® Extreme Masters Finals II at CeBIT 2008.
