The DeCL Points are calculated as follows:
100 DeCL points are awarded per map. This means that 200 points are awarded for a normal match with two maps. These 100 points are the proportional distribution of the team's fought-out points. The DeCL points in the ranking list are the sum of all matches.
Therefore, a large amount of DeCL points means that a team has earned them by winning their games with especially high and superior scores. DeCL points are the second sort key following the "normal" points. They are comparable to the goals ratio in football.
The name "DeCL" has a historical background. The name stands for "Deutsche Clan Liga" (German Clan League), which was the ESL's predecessor. Back then the points were called "DeCL points" and this has not changed up until now.
