Hearthstone debuts at Intel Extreme Masters
We are very happy to announce that Hearthstone will join the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice as an official title. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be the second Blizzard Entertainment title at the event, which currently features StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. The digital strategy card game will see four players compete in the onsite competition for a total of US$4,000 in the first ever Intel Extreme Masters Hearthstone tournament.
European hopefuls will have a chance to qualify for two of the four spots leading up to the tournament, with one of the spots reserved for a Polish representative. Hearthstone ‘celebrities’ from within the community will be offered the remaining two spots. The invitees will be announced at a later date, however an explanation of how to participate in the qualifiers can be found below.

Qualification Process:

Our European qualifiers will take place throughout the coming week in two stages. In the first stage, players will have a chance to qualify for Stage 2 (our Final Qualifier) in four seperate qualifiers that are open to everyone. The finalists of each of the four qualifiers will move on to the Final Qualifier, in which a total of eight players will then battle it out for the only European spot in the Hearthstone tournament at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice

Let's go!
Hi,
anyone knows if the games are streamed?
This is more Show Business than eSport. 1 slot from 5 tournaments is a joke. I am dissapointed ESL take part in this.
Seriously Europe has only one slot for IEM which takes place in Poland ? Can somebody explain the reasoning behind this ?
There are only 4 Spots overall: one from Europe, one from Poland, two invited celebrities

Why ESL - site dedicated to eSports take part in showbusiness venture?
We know, we just wondering what is the reasoning beneath making just 2 slots for the usual players. It's really dissapointing for the average Joe.
It's really dissapointing for the top Joe as well actually. I would understand when some TV show bring polular faces in, but I thought ESL is about competitive enviroment and eSport. That's why I am dissapointed.

There will be a specific qualifier for all Polish User." So? Intel Extreme is in 5 days and I don't see any polish qualifier -.- CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN?
