"There cant be a win without wire running. It doesnt matter opponent protest or not, when wire is mandatory it's a basic rule."

This match should be GoW vs SNLSTB guys
You keep trying ... but you just make your self looking ridiculous.
you and your clan should growup , trying to find and make problems everywhere so sad
are you fucking kidding me? THAT'S YOUR RESPONSE?

You guys run 4 on AC and 5 in game.. you should be DQ'd since you don't follow the rules.. but too bad, an admins on your team, good for you. You can break the rules and be exempt.

nice example you set

We have a bug with client and it get's blamed on us. Are you ignorant or stupid? I can't tell.

Cheers !
See there u go , insulting... im not gonna start a fight thats what you guys want . If theres something to be done let the admins doit and wait for their decision . Stop Flaming and insulting people wont make you better person. Also im gonna be honest i hope your clan gets banned from all competitions on esl.
btw we eliminate watch dog

Oh man the double standards everywhere. If two teams so far have been DQ'd for the same exact thing, why not you guys? I guess its not how good you are at this game but WHO you know... We didnt make the problems, just want them to be solved is all in a fair and equal manner. By the rules if we are out then so should you be, but that's only BY THE RULES as stated from a "higher up ESL admin"
Interesting. You guys are basically saying its our problem, when it's not. In this case, I'm pointing out that YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, but then you turn it right back around on me. Very interesting. As miracle pointed out, you have two sets of standards

1) for teams better than you

2) for your team

You guys jumped at the chance to remove us from the bracket.. I wonder why.. definitely not because we were going to play you next. Even in the ESL post on the forums I made.. you can clearly see Lynux making a pre-emptive strike on us, insinuating things that we did not do in ESL, but he watched in NYIT. I think it's great, very shady by ESL, and it's just so juicy.

The only right thing to do would be to remove Lynux's admin privileges since he clearly has a personal agenda and remove growup from the tournament, since you violated the rules that we were DQ'd for in the first match.

But you did it in much greater style by simply not even bothering to use the AC client. We at least installed it and ran it, but Miracle had a bug that logged him out (which ESL still refuses to even take a look at). The lack of professionalism is astonishing. Personally I have no stake in ESL as long as Lynux is an admin, SHADY. AS. FUCK.

"Also im gonna be honest i hope your clan gets banned from all competitions on esl."

Is a great line and shows your true colours.. NEXT

I Totally agree with This guys. not DQing yourselves are just the same as proving us all right that you can do whatever you want with the section as long as it suits your needs.

Kimchi was not logged on wire at all and the match should be DQ.

ME and my clan also think that this fucken scum ... Viral U ve got absolutely right ... the best example of how someone can be deceived is TIMK Clan who won with the PLAYHARD ... and now I see that this is not only example ...A BIG WINNERS have u got at least some honor after losing ?

So glad SNLSTB won this. I've never seen any competition where an admin could pull of what Lynux just did in this cup.
your hating makes me feel so good :) thank you bro
It has nothing to do with the rest of uP, really. Good team, nice players.
I just hate it when someone mis-uses his power.
Not sure how you thought that you had the right to kick me as the caster off the server when your rules clearly say that it is ESL decision and not a team decision. Both Lynux and Wanted asked me to cast this match, so this seems to have been another misuse of power. Very sad to see this happen uP, I thought you are a great bunch of guys.

+1 never thought you were holding such a deep grudge against us, that has become clear last couple of days... and mr.mango, don't talk about things if you don't know what happened... all i know that this was not a one man action... and what i wonder... why is everyone attacking one guy and not looking at the fact why there was a protest against the team that was banned??? people are so short minded... never looking into things. If this is supposedly the future of the game... i fear aaopg will die fast because of cheaters, exploiters and bashers...

and there are more admins, why not complain with them about what happened? i really wonder what then will come out of it, you'll see things aren't the way you guys think they are.. the only thing i have seen that afterwhat seems an action of a particular admin, which obviously is hated by lots of you guys (don't deny it, you proven my point here already), everyone just attacks him because you guys don't like m... maybe you should look into the real thing it is about here. People put obviously hate against a person over the things that destroy the game...

you guys really make me sick...

Fact is, you could've spared yourself the trouble and just let him cast, but your team decided to do it this way. That was what made me sick, also the fact that you ask if we can play later. So we decided to wait until 20:30 because we just wanted to be nice. Then after 18 minutes you do not start saying THE RULES SAYS WE GOT 20 MINUTES.

That was the most DISGUSTING and SICKENING response I have EVER seen. It really applauds people to be sportsmanlike and to wait for some time with starting the match next time... Right??

I just had to mention this now, since your last response about people being narrow-minded.

I also made a post on daily about these kinds of protest.
don't think we are talking about the same thing, cause if you know all that has happened so you would probably judge diferent , i do think it would have been better to discuss it upfront with you guys (since it was a match of 2 teams) about why we did not want it.. but i guess that was an unlucky action of our side.

If you are bothered with our team being late, file a complaint about it... as you might have noticed i did not play, so i did not know we were late... but i am pretty sure if it would be the other way around we would have waited too...

i don't mind you made a post on aaodaily... aaodaily is not americas army nor the whole community

OK SO to reiterate my point

We played with 5 guys on wire, but have a bug that logs miracle out after one minute.

Result from ESL: Instantly disqualified. Lynux lobbied from day one to have us removed. Cheaters exploiters and bashers? Which one are we, Flixxer? Please, enlighten me. I hope it's the last one because that's really all you have on us. If you think its 1 or 2.. well I am just going to laugh.

Now, as far as the admin activity goes. TIMK and 2K2S DQ'd because of BUGS ON THE CLIENT. Fact. Absolute fact.

You guys played your match against LSTS with 4 on client, and 5 in game. LIKE I SAID ABOVE: DIRECT RESPONSE FROM ADMIN: "There cant be a win without wire running. It doesnt matter opponent protest or not, when wire is mandatory it's a basic rule."

If Lynux was a stand up admin, he would realize you guys were at fault, DQ'd his own team, and moved on and appologized. But he's not. He's shady, emotional, and using his admin powers for his own benefit. Do I have to post the logs where on the 13th Lynux was lobbying to have us DQ'd from the tournament over things he A ) did not participate in B ) did not happen and C ) Speculation of the wildest forms.

You have got to be kidding me if you, growuP, think you are in the right at all here. You guys scummed your way into the semi's, but still got destroyed by SNLSTB.

So yeah, absolutely no sympathy for this situation on your end, I am not even shocked that you guys underhandedly tried to get JC not to cast (I AM 100% SURE that this has something to do with Lynux vs JC but I will not speculate further).

One of the scummiest things I've ever seen in a competitive tournament. It is unfortunate for ESL's first tournament that this happen, but as far as I am concerned I would rather blow this up and start shit and have it fairly resolved next time, then to idly sit by and allow Lynux free reign over things he see's fit.

What. A. Joke. The fact that you guys are defending yourselves here speaks volumes about what is going on behind the scenes. Just look at Thuggz responses.. he acts like we are trying to bring OUR PROBLEMS to YOU GUYS.. even though you broke the rules (even more so since Kimchi didn't even log in at all to client) yourselves. But, like I said before, since you have admin Lynux on your team, no action was taken and you just went ahead with the match.

It looks like the community is on my side here though. So keep digging yourselves a hole and exposing the fraudulent bad players that you are.

Cheers. GJ SNLSTB on the win. Growup, go fuck yourselves.

EDIT: Also my whole point here is the future of AAPG should not be about who can scum their way into semis. It should be about skill. Because if this issue is not resolved, I see the future of AAPG as SCUMMY. Thanks

I smell that cocaine is playing on growups team.
Well, yesterday one of them said: "Greets from coca. He will come back stronger than in AA2".

I think we all should take a deep breath here. I know for a fact that every single person here wants to see the community grow and does not want to be the cause of annoying e-drama. Sometimes you get pushed into a situation where you feel unjustly threatened or attacked (or your team) and then you try to defend yourself.

Bottom line is this:

Two teams were removed from the tournament due to issues with the AC client. We know for a fact that at least 2K2S did not do anything wrong with setting it up and it very much looks like the client is buggy. It was very unfortunate for them, as they got removed from a tournament without actually being responsible for the cause. The official answer from a higher ESL admin was very poor: "there is no bug, deal with it" which caused a lot of frustration on the 2K2S side. This problem will surely have to be investigated further, as I am sure it will come up again in the future.

I also believe that neither TIMK or 2K2S should have been removed from the tournament for this. I think giving out a warning or penalty points would have been more sufficient, especially under the circumstances that it is not proven that it was their fault. Anyways, the admin decision was clear: "anyone not using the client correctly has to be removed from the tournament". I would like to point out that this was NOT a decision by Lynux nor did he have anything to do with this. It was decided by a higher up ESL admin.

One of the biggest points of discussion here was the fact that uP] had problems with the client as well in their first match. One of their members did not even connect to it throughout the entire game. I understand that this looks very unfortunate from an outside point of view (seeing that one ESL admin is on the uP] roster and they have not been removed), but I believe a clear look at the facts can explain the entire situation. Following matches all had the same problem, but no action had been taken as there were no complaints:

http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475968/ (3 players 1stCav)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475970/ (1 xP, 3 SQUN)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475972/ (1PLAYHARD, 2 TSR)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475973/ (4 Victorians)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475976/ (1 n1, 1 2K2S)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475978/ (1 uP)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475982/ (1 Infocs)
http://www.esl.eu/eu/aapg/objective/5on5/opening_cup/match/29475984/ (1 SNLSTB, 2 RUN)

In most of those cases, the players did not even use Wire. On most others, they got disconnected way before the match was over. In fact, there was NOT A SINGLE first round match that did not have ESL Wire problems and almost every team should have been removed from the tournament based on the fact that 2K2S and TIMK were removed in round 2.

So why did these two teams get removed and no other team did?

The answer is simple: In both cases they were disputed against afterwards by the opposing team. A higher up admin saw these disputes and then acted according to the rules. He failed to check whether it was the teams fault or whether there were problems with ESL Wire. I would bet money that most of you guys did not even know that your own team was possible involved in this as you probably did not check the logs either.

Here is another piece of information for you guys: I was approached by 3 uP] guys today who told me two things:
1) They apologized for kicking me off the server last night. They understand they were at fault to do so. A mix of things lead them to do it last night. I accepted the apology and for me this topic is done.
2) They also said they they should have been removed from the tournament based on not using ESL Wire in round 1 and based on the other 2 teams being removed for the same reason. As everyone else, they did not notice this earlier.

I do not think the fault here lies with uP] or even with Lynux personally. He is a new admin, barely 3 weeks to be exact, and disputes are handled by other parties. It is simply not his jurisdiction. The fault lies with the higher admin and not anywhere else.

It is obvious that there are bugs with ESL Wire and we as a community should stand together and keep pointing ESL at these problems until they are fixed. As said earlier, I do not think ANY team should have been removed for these issues and TIMK as well as 2K2S have my full support on this matter.

On a personal note:
I would really like to see people to stop playing the blame game here. None of us are interested in creating more e-drama, we all want to see this community grow and we all should work hand in hand to reach our goals. I myself have no issues with Lynux or uP] and am looking forward to casting them again in the future.

Thank you for reading all this.

James Carter for ESL admin.

Or NSA spy... not sure.

Anyways, good read. You're right. The community has no benefit of e-drama.

Hopefully the rules will be applied better in the next tournament/league. We all want this game to be something great. Or else we wouldn't be playing.
J.C - for ESL Admin.
oh god its not even a full game yet and we get this stuff....
