The road to EPS *REMINDER*
The first Quake Live EPS Season has come to an end! Did you follow EPS Season 4 and do you want to make a chance to play on stage like the top4 did? Do not hesitate to sign up in our EAS Ladder. This is the first step towards EPS! A further description towards EPS has been written down below!
1. ESL Amateur Series
As mentioned above, EAS is the first step towards EPS. Each player who is playing in the First Division or in the EPS started of in the EAS Ladder. So, if you are new and want to reach 1st Div. or EPS, you have to sign up in our EAS Ladder. If you just want to play a regular Quake Live Duel match against a Benelux player, you obviously can join our EAS Ladder as well!
As we do not want to favour players who join the ladder right before the snapshot will be taken, each player must have at least 5 matches played before they can qualify for the 1st Division.
Playing a match can be done in different ways:
2. First Division
Whoever wins the matches between the top4 of the EAS Ladder and the last 3 of the 1st Division will qualify for the 1st Division. The 1st Division is the last step towards EPS. In the 1st Division a fixed schedule is used and it is being ran as a season, each player plays each other once in a Best of Three format. During the 1st Division, players are "warmed up" up for the EPS.
Two 1st Division are being played before a new EPS Season takes place, so signing up now means you can still participate in the next EPS Season, but you have to be fast because the snapshots are on his way!!!!
What position do you need to be in to make a chance on the 1st Division?
3. ESL Pro Series
If you end first or you win the qualification playoffs, you reach the EPS. The ESL Pro Series is the highest national league in the ESL, featuring the countries best players and teams competing for prize money and off line events where eSports fans can watch their favourite competitors play live.
What position do you need to be in to stay in the EPS?
